Support this project

Markstrata is free, MIT licensed, and built in evenings and weekends. It will stay free: there is no paid tier, no telemetry and nothing held back.

If it saved you an afternoon, or replaced something you were about to pay for, you are very welcome to say thanks.

Buy me a coffee is the one-off option: a few pounds, no account, done in thirty seconds. GitHub Sponsors is the recurring one, and it shows up on the repository, which quietly helps other people trust the project enough to try it.

Ways to help that cost nothing

Money is genuinely the least useful thing on this list.

Tell me it broke

A precise bug report is worth more than a coffee. The markdown that rendered wrongly, the theme, the browser, and a screenshot. That is usually enough to fix it the same day. Open an issue โ†’

Star the repository

It is the signal other people use to judge whether a SharePoint web part from a stranger is worth installing. Star it โ†’

Tell someone at work

Most of the people who would benefit from this do not know markdown web parts for SharePoint exist, let alone that one of them looks like their editor.

Send a pull request

Themes especially. A theme is one CSS file setting a documented list of tokens, and the build fails if one is missing, so it is a genuinely small contribution to make. CONTRIBUTING.md โ†’

What your money actually does

Nothing dramatic, and it is worth being honest about it: there are no server costs, because the site is GitHub Pages and the web part runs entirely inside your own tenant. There is no company. It buys the odd domain renewal, and it buys the thing that is actually scarce, which is the motivation to keep fixing small irritations in a documentation renderer on a Sunday.

Thank you for reading this far; that already counts for something.
